5 Summer Lip Colors I Can’t Get Enough Of

Summer lip colors will vary from beauty lover to beauty lover. Bright fuchsias scream summer to some people while peach toned nudes appeal to others…while firey reds inspire others. You get my point! So today we are talking all about the summer lip colors you’ll see me daunting all summer long!

Personally, I’m in the variety of lipstick lovers gravitating toward coral tones, peachy nudes, and warm oragney reds. I also haven’t been reaching for many matte lipsticks and preferring glossy, balmy, and lightweight formulas instead.

1 | Nude Pink

I’ve been gravitating toward nudes recently. I mean they’re just so easy and non-fussy. But for summer, I’ve been opting for a nude with a hint of a pink undertone. I find they add a soft pink tone to the lips that brightens the lip’s natural hue.

2 | Orangey Red

An orangey red hue isn’t a new love for me by any means; it’s one of my favorite lip colors to wear year round. It’s the perfect summer shade because it generally has warm and cool undertones, making it suitable for an array of complexions.

Give me a clean, dewy complexion, minimal shadow on the eye, and a pop of YSL’s Glossy Stain Lip Color in Orange De Chine all over the lip! It’s the perfect summer look.

3 |Peachy Coral

Nothing complements sun-kissed skin like a peachy shade. While I prefer a deeper shade, this color category has shades in the most delicate of peaches to deep and statement making.

4 |Burnt Orange

For those of you not into dramatically statement making lips, this burnt orange color may be for you. It’s a little unexpected but not so intense as the orangey reds we mentioned above.

5 |Rose

There is something so youthful, fresh, and pretty about a rose pout. I find that when my skin is looking a bit dull and drab, a rosy tone on the lip transforms and brightens my complexion and makes me look more alive!
