I don’t know what it is, but I love the beauty sets that get released around the holidays. And there are three main reasons: trying popular products, gifting, and travel. Most holiday sets are curated collections of products offering a trial array of bestsellers, a value or bang-for-your-buck factor, or make for really great, neutral gift option for the beauty lover on your list. And there are a ton of great holiday sets to choose from this year. I’ve rounded up 9 of the holiday sets from SEPHORA I’ve been eyeing and think you should check out.

The Holiday Sets from SEPHORA I’ve Had My Eye On
Makeup:
Jouer Mini Essential Lip Enhancer Sweet Deluxe Trio*: I am always trying out new lip balms, but I definitely have my top favorites. The Jouer Essential Lip Enhancer* falls into that category. The formula is really thick but not sticky. It’s moisturizing and plumping and leaves a pretty pearl finish on the lip. This mini set*, in particular, comes in 3 holiday scents: vanilla, pumpkin spice, and maple. Yum. I’d pop on on my nightstand, one in my purse, and one in my travel toiletry bag and be good to go!
Gucci Rouge à Lèvres Voile + Balm Holiday Lip Gift Set*: I’ve tried a lot of lipsticks, and the Gucci lip products are by far some of my absolute favorites. Everything about them is beautiful. The packaging is divine, the formulas are comfortable and flattering, the shade selection is great, and the shade names are the icing on top. This set* comes with 3 full-size products in 3 different formulas. In this particular set, They Met in Argentina* is a warm rose shade in a matte formula. Goldie Red* is the signature Gucci signature red (a true/warm red) in the Rouge à Lèvres Voile formula*, which is more of a sheer finish. And Joslyn Clair* is a transparent balmy product that is just lovely.
Merit The Holiday Essentials Face Set*: I saw this set from Merit and immediately added it to this list. It’s such a good giftable holiday set from SEPHORA. For $45, you get a full-size Shade Slick* in Marrakech, full-size Flush Balm* blush in Raspberry Beret, and a mini size of their Clean Lash* mascara. It’s a good value and is a good opportunity to try some of my favorite products from the brand.
I have a full Merit brand review you can read here.
Body + Skincare:
Nécessaire The Body Ritual*: This is one of those sets I almost want to pick up to throw in my travel bag. The Necessaire products are so elegant and simple. It almost feels like a treat to use them. This set comes with travel sizes of The Body Exfoliator*, The Body Wash*, The Body Serum*, and The Body Lotion*. I think it’d be a good neutral gift for men and women on your list.
Bobbi Brown Time To Prime Vitamin Enriched Face Base Duo*: One of my favorite makeup primers is the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base*. It can be used as a makeup primer, moisturizer, or both. And it’s so lightweight yet rich feeling on the skin, has the slightest citrus scent, and makes for a beautiful, hydrated canvas for makeup to sit atop. This duo* is a good buy on sale or not, as it’s nearly a buy one, get one free situation. Keep one, and gift one.
Fragrance:
Maison Margiela ‘REPLICA’ Travel Spray Set*: I really don’t shut up about the Maison Margiela REPLICA fragrances, but it’s because I really do love them. I think they’re incredibly special fragrance gifts. I like this little travel spray set*, because not only does it allow a recipient (or you) to try a few different scents, it contains 3 of my very favorites.
Jazz Club* is woody and spicy with some notes of rum and tobacco leaf. It’s classic cocktails and cigar boxes, liquor and leather club chairs. It’s divine.
Bubble Bath* is one of my favorite win-down scents for bedtime, but can be worn any time. It’s warm and relaxing – soap bubble accord blends with floral rose, jasmine, and lavender and mixed with a little musk.
And By the Fireplace* is the ultimate winter scent. Clove, chestnut, and vanilla take you directly to a crackling fireplace overlooking a winter landscape.
Maison Margiela ‘REPLICA’ Mini Candle Set*: As much as I love the spray fragrances from the REPLICA line, I think I like the candles a little bit more. Not everybody likes an overwhelming scent on their person, but for their home, it may be a different story. This mini candle trio* comes with my favorite By the Fireplace* and Bubble Bath*. But it also has another favorite of mine, Lazy Sunday Morning* – a floral fragrance that’s soft and velvety like fresh linens. Notes of pear, iris, and white musk is both calming and invigorating. It’s magical.
Tools:
Shiseido Eyelash Curler & Mini Full Lash Serum*: Kind of an odd little set to include in a holiday gift guide, isn’t it? But I really don’t think so. Sometimes the tools that make the biggest different aren’t sexy. Right? They’re not the most exciting things. My favorite eyelash curler is the one* from Shiseido. And this kit includes the curler as well as a mini lash serum*. Personally, I think it’d make for a great gift for a makeup lover.
Beauty Blender Charcoal Besties Set*: I haven’t purchased an actual Beauty Blender brand beauty sponge in a while, because they’re quite pricey, and I’ve found cheaper alternatives. However, it’s still a good sponge. And this little set caught my eye. You get a Beauty Blender sponge*, a solid cleanser*, scrub mat, and ventilated pouch.
Like I said, the sponges are good. Something I do buy frequently is the solid brush cleanser; it’s my favorite and gets your sponges and brushes clean. The scrub mat is handy for really working the cleansing agent into brush bristles. But the ventilated pouch is what I was most interested in. That would make traveling with a beauty sponge so much more convenient.
Whether or not you’re shopping for gifts for others or yourself (because let’s be real, we all pop a small gift for ourselves in the cart…just me?,) these 9 holiday sets from SEPHORA are sure to be a hit. I think they’re all pretty neutral, which makes it great for a picky person or someone on your list you aren’t certain they’d like another color cosmetic item. Now, if you don’t mind, I’m going to try to talk myself out of buying these for myself.
