Brighter days are ahead, thanks to this month’s Allure Beauty Box. Like Allure’s features editor, Jessica Curel, said in the introduction to this box, the past few months have definitely taught me that beauty isn’t the most important or trivial thing in the world. However, my beauty routine has become increasingly more important to my day. Because the reality of the situation, particularly mine, is that my beauty routine heavily influences my mood. When I do a little skincare, style my hair, and slap on a little mascara, I’m significantly more productive and have better mental health days. This month’s box is full of beauty helpers to assist in your at home routine. What’s in the June Allure Beauty Box? Let’s find out.

Yensa Super 8 Lip Oil in Pink Shine: This is a brand I don’t think I’ve heard of before, but I do love a good lip oil, so I’ll give it a try! This hot-pink (sheer) oil adds a perky kick to the skin. And the oil formula isn’t heavy like a gloss but an oil. It dries down and leaves behind hydration. It’s loaded with antioxidants and moisturizers like vitamin E, coconut, and avocado seed oil. They added that each time you put it on, you’re ultimately working toward smoothing the lips.
Full size in box $28
Dashing Diva Gloss Ultra Shine Gel Palette*: Oh boy. I have tried these nail stickers before, and it didn’t go well. But I am also someone who exclusively does my nails at home. From time to time I may use press ons, but my nails are healthy, strong, and long, so I usually do polish. But these look really, really pretty.
With nail stickers, you clean your nails, stick the strip onto the nail, smooth out the bubbles, and file off the excess. I do really like the modern and geometric designs, and the nudey/gray color is great. I’ll report back with my experience with these.

Starskin 100% Camellia Nourishing & Brightening 2-Step Oil Sheet Mask:* I’ve been phasing sheet masks out of my collection, but from time to time I receive them in subscription boxes and generally enjoy how hydrating they can be.
This one is a 2-step mask that is supposed to add an intense dose of hydration to your skin thanks to the vial of pure camellia seed oil. Camellia seed oil is naturally packed with fatty acids to help plump skin as well as antioxidants.
The first step is applying the oil to your face. The second step is to layer the sheet mask over top — which is formulated with niacinamide, sodium hyaluronate, and more camellia seed oil.
Belif The True Cream – Aqua Bomb Aloe Vera*: I love aloe vera in my skincare, and especially during the summertime where I’m being exposed to the sun more than usual. But pure aloe vera is sticky. It’s great on my scalp, not so much on my face. This moisturizer from Belif is a spin on their original Aqua Bomb but formulated with aloe.
Full size $38* ; Box value $7.60
Purlisse Watermelon + Charcoal Purifying Cleanser: I love receiving cleansing products in boxes, and this one from Purlisse has me really happy. I’ve used it a few times since writing this post, and I really like it. I think it balances clarifying and soothing perfectly and doesn’t dry out my skin. My first impression was question because it comes out of the tube in a black tint, which I wasn’t expecting. But the cleanser removes oils and debris (I still like to use something else for makeup removal) and smells amazing.
Full size in box $18
La Roche Posay Active C10*:^ One ingredient my skin loves is vitamin C, so I think I’m really going to get on with this product from La Roche Posay. This brightening treatment is formulated with ascorbic acid/vitamin C and hydrating vitamin E.
Full size $49.99* ; Box value $~8
^Your box contains either La Roche Posay Active C10 OR the Shangpree Gold Black Pearl Eye Mask
Total Box Value: $80.60
