Lue by Jean SEO Erase Cleansing, Exfoliating & Brightening Powder

A healthy and luscious glow really stems from good skin, so it isn’t a surprise this month’s Allure box is skincare heavy. First up is a multi-tasker from Lue by Jean SEO. This is one of those products that is supposed to cleanse, exfoliate, and brighten in one step.

Combine this powder exfoliator (made with milk powder and oats) with water, apply, wait one minute, and massage it away. It unclogs pores and renders skin “as soft as a baby in a tiny velour tracksuit.” I mean…that sounds great.

AmorePacific Youth Revolution Mask*

You know how much I love a good multi-tasker, and I think this moisturizing mask is going to become a favorite (unfortunately for my bank account…this retails for $200!). Enriched with white peony, this mult-tasker will help improve the skin’s overall tone and firmness, and green tea polysaccharides will brighten your complexion.

One thing I love about this is that you can use it in the AM & PM as a moisturizer or as an overnight hydrating mask, rinsing it off in the morning.

Laneige Water Bank Moisture Cream

I love getting products I already use & love in my Allure box, so I was enthralled to get a mini size of the Water Bank Moisture Cream from Laneige. This cream balances being lightweight and effectively moisturizing in a perfect way. It doesn’t ever feel heavy, but it thoroughly plumps the skin with ceramides and sodium hyaluronate.

I particularly love that this is a moisturizer you can use in the AM & PM, so there’s no need to buy two products. My skin has been especially dehydrated, so this came at a great time!

St. Tropez Self Tan Purity Bronzing Water Face Mist*

I’ve mentioned it before; I hate receiving tanning products in beauty boxes but not everyone is ghostly and stays that way.

This facial tanner from St. Topez supposedly goes on clear in the form of a mist that’s hydrating and infused with tanning agents. Their site claims the tan will last up to 3 days.

I might try this out, but I probably won’t. We’ll see!

Laritzy Cosmetics Lip Gloss in Vibe

I’m SHOCKED with how many glosses I’ve acquired in the past year! But I think I’m going to love having this one from Laritzy in my collection. The pale pinkish-nude gloss has the most fabulous ’60s vibe, but the warmth and sheerness of it makes it a more flattering take on that sex-kitten lip color.

I find this gloss is very comfortable on the lips and not at all sticky or goopy feeling.

ModelCo Eyelites Metallic Eyeshadow in St. Barts

ModelCo claims this metallic cream shadow dries fast and doesn’t rub off, and they weren’t playing! This bronzy-champagne shadow won’t crease and won’t go anywhere all day. The doe-foot applicator deposits the perfect amount of color across you id for a cool metallic effect, but if you blend the edges, you can achieve a gorgeous hazy look.
