The last SEPHORA VIB Sale Recommendations post I’m doing this year is a roundup of all of my current beauty favorites. I’m not going to lie … the list is a little extensive, and honestly I could have added more. But these are some products I’ve been using on the regular and think would either make a pleasant addition to your own collection or would be good gift items for the holidays. I’ve got a little of everything from makeup to skincare to bath and body.

SEPHORA VIB Sale Recommendations | Current Beauty Favorites
Makeup | Face:
Cadualie Beauty Elixir*: This face mist always finds it’s way onto these recommendations lists, and for good reason. It smells nice, refreshes the skin on no makeup days, meshes all the makeup together on days you are wearing makeup, and serves as a nice little aromatic self-care moment. I always have one of these in my bathroom, travel bag, and on my nightstand!
Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray*: Another facial spray I love is the Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray* from Charlotte Tilbury. It’s magic in a spray bottle. It melts all your makeup together and gives the skin a truly airbrushed appearance. It’s amazing.
NARS Fort de France Highlighter*: An oldie but a goodie is the Fort de France highlighter* from NARS. It’s one of those no-nonsense products and one that is really hard to mess up. It’s not a super subtle highlight; it definitely leaves your skin glowy. But it doesn’t necessarily deposit color. More so, it is really only visible when the light catches it. And when it does, it leaves the most beautiful, wet looking glow.
Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base*: Fellow dry girls, keep this on your radar. Sometimes I use it as a moisturizer on its own, but usually I use it to prep the skin for makeup. It leaves the skin moisturized and plump and creates a healthy, glowy base for makeup to sit on top of. And the slight citrus scent is a little sensory bonus.
Makeup | Eyes:
Pat McGrath Eyeshadow Palettes*: If I were to recommend a special eye shadow to gift, I would immediately suggest a Pat McGrath palette. They are honestly some of the most intuitive, beautiful palettes I’ve ever used. They aren’t as nuanced as a Natasha Denona palette, which make them great for beginners. And the special shades are truly amazing. My two favorites are the Huetopian Dream* palette and the Bronze Seduction* palette.
Gucci L’Obscur Mascara*: I talk about this mascara all the time. I’m on my 3rd tube, I think? It’s the best for editorial, clumpy lashes if you build it up. But for everyday, it adds length, volume, and fans out the lashes in the most classic and bold way. The packaging is also gorgeous, which is in line with the whole Gucci beauty line. It’d make a delicious gift.
Lancome Lash Idôle Lash-Lifting & Volumizing Mascara*: Another mascara I’m loving is the Lash Idôle* from Lancome. Unlike the Gucci, it doesn’t leave me with editorial looking lashes. Instead, the look I get from this mascara is very feminine and sultry. It lifts the lash, lengths, and adds so much volume. It lasts all dang day. And I’m on my 2nd tube.
Wander Beauty Mile High Club Mascara*: And my favorite every day kind of mascara is the Mile High Club* mascara from Wander Beauty. It’s a tubing mascara, so it’s super easy to remove at the end of the day. A little warm water will release the product, and all you’ve got to do is wipe it away. The look on the lash is also lengthened and with added volume, but it’s not too much. I think this would be great for a tween or a minimal makeup gal … or anyone that is kind of lazy like me day to day.
Makeup by Mario Eyeliner Pencil in The Perfect Brown*: This is one of those makeup items that isn’t sexy. It’s just a brown eyeliner. But it is the best eyeliner I have ever used. Bold statement, I know. It really is the perfect brown. It’s dark, but noticeably brown. It lasts forever. It’s a wooden pencil, which are my favorite, but it smudges beautifully and easily. I think it’s the best liner I have right now for the water line. Honestly it’s just so good; you need it.
Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Eyeliner*: Another liner I’m obsessed with is the Pillow Talk liner* from Charlotte Tilbury. The formula is lovely. It’s not amazing, but it’s really good (I have a lot of these pencils, so I do like it.) But the color! It’s a maroon/berry situation, and it’s amazingly flattering. I love this along the lashline, smudged out into a baby wing. I also love tightlining with this on minimal makeup days, just to make my blue eyes pop! But I do think it’d make all eye colors pop.
Makeup | Lip:
Too Faced Hangover Pillow Palm*: I’ve been using this lip balm lately, and I’m loving it. I have the flavor Banana Kiss, but they have some other good ones like Cocoa, Mango, and Watermelon, as well as an original. It’s so hydrating and lasts on the lips for hours. I love the frosted gloss finish it leaves on the lips. And I think I’ve been reaching for this out of the sheer convenience the doe foot applicator gives.
Make Up For Ever Artist Color Pencil*: These pencils are marketing to use on the lips, eye, and brow. I have only used them as lip liners, however. But they’re great. Again, they’re wooden pencils, which I personally like better. The standout shades for me are: Anywhere Caffeine*, Completely Sepia*, and Wherever Walnut*.
Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipsticks*: Sometimes you want to wear a lipstick that makes a statement, but you don’t want it to be overpowering or too much of a statement. That’s where I like this lipstick formula. The shades aren’t sheer, but they aren’t too much, either. It’s almost the perfect amount of pigment. The shades are pretty safe, but pretty and very flattering. And the formula, I think, is a quite comfortable matte. My favorites are Walk of No Shame* (a red,) Pillow Talk* (a peachy pink/nude,) and Very Victoria* (more of a neutral.)
Gucci Lipsticks*: If you want to dazzle someone with a beauty gift this season, give the gift of Gucci. I knew I had to include these as part of my SEPHORA VIB Sale recommendations! The packaging is divine. The formulas are delightful. And the shades are cool and plentiful. I don’t have enough good things to say about the Gucci lipsticks. There are a few different formulas. A matte*, a sheer*, a satin*, a high impact shine*, and a balm*. Personally, I love all of them. But I tend to reach for the matte and sheer formulas the most.
Merit Shade Slick*: Just read my review here. These are so good. My favorite shade is Au Natural*, and I just bought Bel Air* and Taupe*. They’re glossy, oily, pigmented, and make my lips look so plump and sexy. So good.
Tower 28 Glosses*: Another gloss product I am obsessed with is the gloss formula from Tower 28. There are two different ones – a traditional, sheer gloss, and a milky gloss. I love them both. The sheer is this wet looking, glossy product that is super thin and hydrating and offers a sheer wash of color. The milky glosses are exactly the same but a little bit more pigmented. You really just have to experience them. My favorite colors are Cashew*, Almond*, and Magic*.
Skincare:
Guerlain Abeille Royale Advanced Youth Watery Oil*: Skincare is hard to gift, because it’s really personal. But this oil would be such a special gift. Guerlain makes truly beautiful products, and the Youth Watery Oil* is no different. It’s packaged beautifully and looks good on the bathroom counter. But the formula is exquisite. It’s just as hydrating as an oil, but once it hits the skin, it’s water thin. It’s lightweight, easy to pat into the skin. And leaves my face with the healthiest glow. I just ran out, and while I purchased a different oil, I may have to order this one again during the sale.
Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask*: There are 2 sleeping masks I’m obsessed with. One can’t be purchased at Sephora but it’s is the Sisley Black Rose sleeping mask*. The other is the Jet Lag Mask* from Summer Fridays. I use a little of this at night, and when I wake up, my skin is so hydrated, plump, and bright. It’s just lovely and would make a great skincare gift.
Tatcha Rice Enzyme Powder*: Another skincare item I think you get away gifting is this Rice Enzyme Powder* from Tatcha. It’s a chemical exfoliating product that is gentle and effective, and a little goes a long way. You wet a little of the rice powder in your hands and work into a lather (you shouldn’t feel the rice anymore.) Then you work it into your skin for about a minute. And let me tell you, your skin is left so soft and smooth.
Peace Out Acne Dots*: I’m a huge fan of pimple patches. They keep me from picking at my skin, plus they really work at bringing icky stuff to the surface or drying out your blemishes (depending on the focus of the product.) These would make such a useful stocking stuffer for a beauty lover on your list.
Bath & Body:
My favorite category …
Kiehl’s Crème de Corps Hydrating Body Lotion*: It’s an expensive body lotion, but it’s so good. I treat myself to this every so often, usually during the winter time. But I also keep a small bottle of it in my travel bag. My skin freaks out when I travel, especially to different climates or water systems, so having something ultra-hydrating and familiar is nice. This lotion is lightweight, but it’s incredibly moisturizing and leaves your skin soft, hydrated, and happy. Any homebody would love this lotion as a gift.
First Aid Beauty KP Bump Eraser Body Scrub*: Do you have that bumpy, rough skin on the backs of your arms or on your legs? Me too. And so does about 40% of the adult population. It’s not a big deal, but it can be irritating. I had it pretty bad, but after I started using this AHA scrub* from First Aid Beauty, it’s almost entirely gone. The KP Bump Eraser Scrub is a physical exfoliate and a chemical exfoliate with 10% AHA. The lactic and glycolic acids help loosen skin’s top layer and decongest pores, while pumice buffing beads slough it all away, leaving your skin smooth and bright.
Prima Bath Gem 25mg CBD Bath Soak*: I’ve mentioned these before, and it’s because they are my newest favorite bath product. I’m talking one of my bath staples for a dream bath. They may end up in all future SEPHORA VIB Sale recommendations posts. Once I drop this into my bath, I know my skin is going to feel hydrated and smooth. And I mean … if it’s not, what’s the point? They also cause a slight cooling sensation that is really pleasant. Get one of these for every stocking you’re stuffing this year. Trust. And maybe one for me, too (;
Ouai Chill Pills*: These are a little more cost effective in comparison to the Bath Gems* from Prima, but they aren’t any less luxurious. The scent. is that of a delicate rose and jasmine, and it’s super spa-like. These little bath fizzes are also infused with lush oils to moisturize, nurture, and soothe the skin.
Ren Moroccan Rose Otto Bath Oil*: A really good bath has bubbles, salts, maybe a fizz, and an delicious oil. This one* from Ren is so good and luxurious. The scent is floral, but not a generic floral. And it leaves my skin so hydrated and soft. There’s a theme here, ok. I love bath products that leave my skin hydrated, smooth, and that has a spa-like scent.
Herbivore Coconut Milk Bath Soak*: This one is indulgent. Formulated with coconut milk, it moisturizes, softens, and soothes the skin. And the smell is so … good. I can’t really describe it. It’s just nice.
Josie Maran Body Butters*: Another body lotion for after bath, is the Josie Maran body butters. They’re so luscious and moisturizing. And the scents are unreal.
Wow. Ok. My SEPHORA VIB Sale Recommendations. That was a lot. But these are some of my favorite beauty products right now. Not only do I think you’d love adding them to your collection, I think they’re very giftable beauty products. Since beauty is so subjective, and all of our preferences and skin behavior is different, sometimes it can be hard to gift beauty products. But this list, I think, offers so many safe bets that your loved ones will enjoy.
