Everything I Want From H&M Right Now

Quarantine has me doing a lot of things … reading more, eating out less, and window shopping excessively. And with so much uncertainty surrounding the current situation, Fitz and I have adopted a small spending freeze. There’s just so much uncertainty, you know? I’m also just not particularly in the mood for hard hitting blogging, so today I’m literally just showing you everything I want right now from H&M. Because they have a lot of stuff* I want.

loungewear…

Spending all of my time at home recently has led me to realize I have no lounge clothes. I have one pair of leggings and a couple of basic sweatshirts. I don’t mind wearing jeans, slacks, and dresses while I’m working from home. I’m a big believer in dressing to be productive. But when I’m just lounging around the house or am feeling a little down, I just want to be comfy.

My eye was immediately drawn to this cashmere blend hoodie*/short* set. I’m a sucker for anything cashmere. It’s like a love language to me. This cashmere blend poncho* would be perfect to throw on with these suede leggings* for a put together but blanket like look.

If cashmere is my love language, silk is my ennegram. I’m obsessed with this orangey gold silk robe*, these navy sleep pants*, and this pair of sultry, silky panties*. Yeah…I could lounge in that.

bottoms…

A note about myself: I never want to buy pants.

My shorts collection needs a serious revamp — aka none of them fit. And if they aren’t high waist, I’m not interested. So I love these black mom shorts* (they also come in a light wash denim I want).

I’ve also had my eye out for a good pair of leather pants*. Why? I just want them, and I like these. On the complete opposite end of the spectrum is this dreamy lavender patterned tulle skirt*. And we can’t forget about this amazing pair of pleated trousers*. *insert heart eyes*

tops…

Remember how I feel about silk? This tunic* is dreamy and luscious and I want to lounge around the house in this baby. And this basic cream silk t-shirt* would be perfect for layering (beneath this amazing spring blazer*?). This silky boxy blouse* is not only the best color, but it is also my favorite thing to throw on with a good pair of denim shorts and my Chuck’s. And a good ole black sweater is classic, and I love the lace detail on this one*.

These ribbed tanks* are perfect for under blazers or with flowy skirts. And this knotted ribbed tank* would be perfect to wear with leggings around the house or to dress down otherwise formal skirts and bottoms.

When will I wear this ruffled asymmetrical top*? Always if I had it.

dresses…

These dresses man. I want them all.

I’m super into the ’70s look of looser fitting, longer length dresses with boots. For this zebra dress*, I will wear knee high black boots with a heel. I’ll wear this puff sleeve polka dot dress* with red western style boots. This abstract purple patterned dress* and this floral number*? White calf-height boots…for sure. And I think it’d be kind of cool to pair this shorter purple number* with puff sleeves and a leopard print with metallic sneakers and like … a bright yellow crossbody.

shoes + accessories…

I’m at a point where I want to get rid of all of my shoes and just start over. I think I’d start with these black leather slides*. I love the quilted strap, and they’d be perfect for wearing around the house or running errands. And these slides* with an oversized buckle and orange strap would be super cute for spring.

For all of the new loungewear I’m getting (I’m not actually buying it, remember?), these cream sneakers* are cute. And I didn’t include these in the picture (because I forgot and didn’t feel like remaking it), I’m obsessed with these woven slingbacks*.

Moving to higher ground. These white pumps* are everything. My spring/summer staple, for real, is a pair of not too high heeled sandals. I just got rid of my black pair that were falling apart, and I’m obsessed with this brown pair*. And who doesn’t love a good strappy sandal*?

Away from shoes…I’d wear this shoulder necklace* with everything. Literally. Over blazers, tshirts, pajamas to lounge on the porch. And this fisherman’s cap* is adorable.
