Every time a new brand launches, I compulsively have to add at least one product to my cart. It’s like an out of body experience, and I can’t recall the order until it arrives on my doorstep. Ok; I’m kidding. But I am someone who wants to try every new beauty brand to come on the scene. My first product from Kosas was their Revealer Concealer. And if you’ve been around for a bit, you’ll know how much I love it. Because it worked so well for me, I immediately purchased the Revealer foundation when it launched, along with a ton of other products from the brand. Today we’re finally going to review all of the products I tried in a Kosas Brand Review.
Spoiler alert – the web was buzzing for good reason.
Kosas Brand Review
No. 1
Revealer Concealer*
If you want a medium coverage concealer that brightens, plumps, and improves skin over time, look no further.
I don’t have problematic dark circles, but I do have a hollowness under my eye that can look dark. And I find a lot of concealers highlight this problem. The Revealer Concealer* from Kosas actually helps create the illusion that hollowness is being brought forward. It’s really flattering.
The finish is also amazing, and provides this light coverage with a natural and healthy glow.

Revealer Skin Improving Foundation SPF 25*
First let me say, I don’t care about the SPF in this. You need to wear a separate SPF; this isn’t enough. Anyway. The product.
The consistency of this product is lightweight and serumy – it’s very liquidy. And a theme of this review is the skincare-like qualities of the Kosas products.
The finish on the skin is also beautiful from a makeup perspective. It offers a natural, satin finish and medium coverage. Honestly, it’s a dream to use.
It also doesn’t break me out if I wear it daily like some foundations do.

Color & Light Palette: Cream*
I’m all about cream cheek products lately, and I’ve been lusting after these for years. I finally picked up the shades Velvet Melon* and Tropic Equinox*.
The colors are different than I expected compared to the imagery online, which was a little disappointing. Velvet Melon is a lot more florescent, and Tropic Equinox is a lot more peach than I wanted. However, the formula does redeem them.
The shine you get from the highlight is that beautiful, light diffusing shine. And the blushes offer a natural glow while remaining pigmented. This is a beautiful product, truly.

Wet Lip Oil Gloss*
I love a good gloss, especially on a no makeup day. And this one is hydrating and plumping, all while leaving behind a juicy wash of color. I’ve been reaching for the shade Unbuttoned constantly.
I do find my lips to look more plump when using this. Is it more of a trick of the light than plumping agents? Maybe. But there is no lingering tingle like with some other plumping glosses.
The formula isn’t thin and quick fading like typical oils. It’s thick and sturdy like a gloss, but is never sticky or goopy.
They do fade rather quickly, but I don’t mind.

Weightless Lipstick*
I’ve never heard anyone talk about the Kosas lipsticks, so I thought I might be disappointing. But that’s far from the case. I adore this formula.
I got the shade Rosewater*, which is a flattering cool toned pink. It feels slippy and, again, skincare-like when applied. I feel like I’m applying a lip treatment rather than a lipstick, but with a wash of color that’s not too sheer or too overwhelming.
I also find this lipstick to last, even though it’s not a dry or matte formula. It definitely fades with wear, but it fades evenly and naturally.

Air Brow Tinted Brow Gel*
I’m lazy with my brows. Luckily, my brows are pretty decent. So I’m always reaching a tinted gel for fast grooming.
I really like this. The formula is moussey and more of a gel than, say, the Benefit Gimme Brow*. But I find that gives you the ability to create an airy, feathery brow look easily while also holding the hairs in place.
The formula is also fortified with castor oil, vitamin b5, and biotinoyl tripeptide-1 which conditions and treats the brow hairs. And I’ve noticed a difference since using this regularly.
There are also 10 colors and a clear gel. So everyone can find a shade that works.

Final Thoughts
I enjoyed every product I’ve tried thus far from Kosas, and I’m interested in continuing my journey with the brand.
The formulas feel like treatments and skincare, and I believe they are helping my skin over time. And they are pleasurable to use. Because of that, I feel like the products are really good for mature skin. A lot of the products create a diffused, blurring effect on the skin, which is great if you’re someone with texture or fine lines.
But because of that, I kind of don’t get the packaging and marketing.
It’s like half the brand is sexy and high end, with sleek black and white packaging and quality materials. And the other half is this neon, trendy packaging that lends itself to a younger audience.
Overall, the packaging doesn’t deter me from the brand. It’s just a little confusing, and I wish they’d have stuck with the original packaging details.
