Another month, another bunch of favorites. Today we’re talking May beauty favorites.
I’ve been living out of makeup bags and suitcases for the past few weeks, so I haven’t tried out a ton of new products. The good thing about that, though, is I’ve really become familiar with what I had. Today I’m hitting you with the handful of products I loved in May.

Nars Climax Mascara: Interestingly enough I hated this when I first got it. It was too wet, and it flaked and streaked, so I put it away for a bit. I brought it back out because my Hourglass Caution ran out, and I was pleasantly surprised. Will I buy it again? Probably not, because I had to wait a couple of months for it to dry out, but I’m really enjoying it for the time being. It adds nice length, a decent amount of volume, and doesn’t look spidery or clumpy.

L’Oreal Voluminous Lash Primer: This is an oldie but a goodie. I don’t always use a lash primer, but I do sometimes with finicky mascaras (see above). I find this one adds length to the lashes and tons of volume before mascara application, making it a great complement for lengthening mascara formulas.

Cover FX Monochromatic Bronzer Duo in Sunkissed Bronze: I have so many complexion products in my May beauty favorites, and I won’t linger here too long because I have a full review on this bronzer here. But it has been giving me the summery bronze of a goddess! The formula is smooth and butter, and is easy to work with because it blends so easily. I need to get my hands on a few of the blushes!

BareMinerals Invisible Bronze in Fair to Light: Another bronzer? Excessive, I know. I like this for really natural or “no makeup” makeup days. It’s pigmented but not too orange on my fair skin, and like the Cover FX bronzer, blends easily. I also love the natural glow it gives my skin.

BareMinerals Complexion Rescue Hydrating Foundation Stick: Again, I won’t stay here too long because I’ve done a full review. But this is such an easy foundation to use. It’s so hydrating and lasts for hours. It’s easy to just swipe on and go. Also, I forgot my SPF in Morgantown, so this has been my source of facial sunscreen. It has such a natural finish and lightweight coverage. I just loves how my skin looks in this foundation.
L’Oreal Lumi Shake & Glow Dew Mist: Oh boy; this is my favorite favorite from the month! I picked this up on a whim and am happy I did. I’ve used it as a glowy priming mist, setting mist, and refresh through the day and loved each. The mist is so fine and cooling on the skin that sometimes I go a bit overboard, I think. But it gives your skin the most glorious glow, and I do think it helps the longevity of my makeup. I hope L’Oreal comes out with more of these types of mists!
