The red carpet for the Golden Globes sort of kicks off what the rest of the season will look like, trend-wise. And like fashion, there were so many good beauty looks that I cannot wait to mimic. PS: Today I am wearing pink shadow like Lily.
While I don’t have nearly enough hair to recreate Lily Collins’ princess updo, I can recreate the makeup. And so can you. Set a natural base, add a rosy shadow to the eyes, red lips, and bold brows, and you’re set.
I basically loved everything about Maisie Williams last night. I love the Jackie O neckline in her gown, and I LOVE that bun clip in her hair. Nothing was quite out of the box, but it looked amazing.
Kirsten Bell looked straight up bombshell last night, and I can’t think of a hair-do that would have complemented her dress as well.
Ruth Negga’s makeup matched her dress, and it was awesome. Recreate using silvers and grays for a metallic smokey eye and a nude, matte lip.
While a lot of people thought SJP’s up-do was an ode to the late Carrie Fisher, it actually was inspired by a photo of her mother at her wedding. Either way, love it.
You’d think it’d be impossible to compete with all of those rings, but I couldn’t stop looking at photos of Tracee Ellis Ross’ hair and makeup. Her makeup artist mixed L’Oreal Paris Infallible Lip Paints in shades 322 and 324 to create this matte red lip, and her slicked back and voluminous (oxymoron isn’t it?) hair is perfection.
