Like I mentioned in last month’s post, as the seasons are changing, I am dealing with dry skin, dry hair, and transitioning to a new season in general. The October Allure Beauty Box touts help to level up our routines with a moisturizing scalp mask, hyaluronic serum, a mauve toned blush, and more. Let’s peek inside the October box and see goodies they have in store for us!
The Allure Beauty Box is $25 per month for a mix of 5-6 full-size, deluxe, and sample sized beauty products. Subscribing also gives you access to their member store for discounts on editor-approved products (it’s so good). Plus you can skip a box if you aren’t interested in a given month.
If you are interested in subscribing to the Allure Beauty Box, join here* for $10 off your first box plus a free, full-sized gift from Static Nails. *referral link – you get $10 off your first box, and I get $10.
A Peek Inside the October Allure Beauty box
Haircare:
I love a good scalp treatment, and this moisturizing scalp mask from TPH* is a welcome addition to my shower. This mask is supposed to leave your scalp feeling fresh and invigorated thanks to koalin clay and aloe. I’m excited to give this one a go!
I’m not sure how much use I’ll get out of this Style Edit root touch up spray*, but I love the concept. Color adaptive pigments temporarily conceal grays and roots to extend time between salon visits. And it shampoos out, so there’s no real commitment required.
I love a good scrunchie, and this leopard print, oversized scrunchie from Kristin Ess* is one I’ll be using all autumn.
Skincare:
I just ran out of another sample of the Premier Cru Eye Cream from Caudalie*, and was excited to get another in this month’s box. With plumping hyaluronic acid and hydrating avocado oi, this eye cream leaves my under eyes feeling nourished and helps combat darkness and fine lines.
The Anti-Chafe Stick from First Aid Beauty* landed right in my travel beauty bag for my upcoming Europe trip. With shea butter and colloidal oatmeal, FAB’s non-greasy formula shield skin from irritation caused by chafing. With all of the walking and site seeing we’ll be doing, this will be amazing to have on hand!
Last in skincare is the Vivifying Serum from Flanerie*, which is packed with anti-oxidant rich jojoba oil, glycerin for moisturizing, and hyaluronic acid. I haven’t used this on my face quite yet, but on the back of my hand, it feels luxurious and left my skin incredibly soft.
Makeup:
This pinky mauve powder blush from Teeez gives the skin a similar rose flush that you get on a brisk fall walk, and the formula is super smooth and buttery to apply. I think this is going to be a fall favorite, for sure.
Value Breakdown:
- TPH Scalp Mask* – $12 for 4 oz. (full size in box)
- Style Edit Root Concealer Spray* -$15 for .75oz (travel size in box)

Maybe with the exception of the root touch up spray, I can’t wait to start using this month’s loot. The serum felt amazing on my hand, and I can’t wait to slather my face in this. FAB’s Anti-Chafe stick is going to be perfect on my Europe trip. And the blush is the perfect shade for fall. I can’t ever have too many scrunchies around, and the scalp mask is currently sitting in my shower.
