Over the past year, I have been making a point to use up makeup and skincare products in their entirety – as well as just enjoy the products I already have. So often I’m buying new before I’ve even fully made up my mind on the old. And I wanted to change that, as well as generally spend less on beauty and put that money toward other things instead. But I have recently run out of so many products that I want to repurchase and add back to my collection. And it’s just in time for SEPHORA’s spring savings event. Because now, I at least can repurchase on a discount. So, today we’re going over a few hero products I’m repurchasing in the form of a SEPHORA VIB Sale Recommendations post.

Hero Products I’m Repurchasing | SEPHORA VIB Sale Recommendations
I won’t be trying a whole lot of new products during this sale. Instead, I’m going to replenishing a few hero products I’ve been missing from my collection. Like I said, I have been trying to make a point to actually use up products. And since my collection is on the larger side, I have had a lot to use. For example, I ran out of my hero concealer combination 3 months ago. But because I had 3 other concealers open and in my makeup bag, I wanted to finish those before I bought more. Here’s what I plan on picking up during the sale.
Makeup:
Rare Beauty Liquid Touch Brightening Concealer*: This is one of the concealers I used and have been missing. It’s one of the only concealers I’ve used that actually has a shade option that works for me. I like to buy this one in shade 140C for concealing on my face, because it’s really a great color. It’s a medium coverage concealer that adds a brightening effect to your skin without emphasizing blemishes.
Kosas Revealer Concealer*: I don’t love the Rare Beauty concealer under my eyes on its own, but this Revealer Concealer* from Kosas is my all-time favorite under eye concealer. I’ve got a bit of darkness under my eye from deep set areas that most concealers don’t cover. But this one really makes the entire undereye look even and smooth, bright, and hydrated. And in conjunction with the brightening Rare Beauty concealer*, it’s a combo made in heaven.
Gucci L’Obscur Mascara*: I always have this is in my collection, and if you’ve been around for any amount of time since it came out, you’ll know how much I love it. It’s my favorite mascara. The packaging is gorgeous. The formula allows me to have wispy, flirty lashes or editorial, clumpy lashes. And it’s super black. It doesn’t flake or smudge on me. It’s definitely a mascara I reach for when I don’t want to worry about it.
Skincare:
The Ordinary Niacinamide + Zinc Serum*: Your girl has been dealing with hormonal breakouts lately. It is what it is. And while I was using this a few months ago, I don’t know I noticed a difference in my skin. It wasn’t until I was without it for a few weeks that I noticed how big of a difference it was making.
I noticed a huge difference in how quickly spots fade and how much less congested my skin feels when using this regularly. And while I have really dry skin, this serum contains zinc, which will help oily gals and pals with oil/sebum regulation.
Tower 28 SOS Daily Rescue Facial Spray*: Another product I attribute to helping my skin clear up is this spray from Tower 28. The star ingredient (of the total 3 ingredients) is hypochlorous acid. It’s produced in our own bodies to help combat bad bacteria, but when applied topically, it soothes and purifies sensitive and stressed skin, leaving it soft, clear, and healthy.
Murad Acne Control Clarifying Cleanser*: Body acne isn’t a sexy topic of conversation, but #realtalk. I often get breakouts on my shoulders – from hormones, my conditioner, or most often when I try to switch up my laundry detergent. I love the Murad Clarifying Cleanser*. It’s a pretty simple salicylic acid cleanser that help get deep into the pores to really clean and purify.
They make one for the body, but I prefer to buy the one intended for the face as it contains a higher concentration of salicylic acid. I lather it onto the affected area, leave it on for about 4-5 minutes (no more than 2 on the face), and rinse.
SEPHORA VIB Sale Wishlist
And just because I didn’t want to make an entire post for my wishlist, I’m going to include a couple of wishlist items for the sale. I’m not sure if I’ll make these purchases this go around, but they’re currently sitting in my cart.
Merit Signature Lightweight Lipsticks: I have used most of Merit’s line thus far (check out this comprehensive review) and have loved the products. And I’m extremely interested in trying their new bullet lipstick formula. There’s a dreamy brown I want to get my hands on.
Kosas Revealer Foundation*: Because I love the concealer so much, I’m really intrigued by the foundation in the same line. It’s a medium coverage, natural finish foundation. And some of the ingredients are really tempting. Niacinamide and caffeine for brightening, smoothing, and evening the skintone. Squalane and B5 soothe, calm, and balance oil/moisture levels. Peptides and hyaluronic acid plump and hydrate. It sounds like it’s be a really skin-like foundation, much like the concealer.
Laneige Cream Skin Toner*: My skin has been so dry and dehydrated lately, and I think I’m missing a good hydrating product in my routine. This is supposed to be a 2-in-1 toner/moisturizer intended for hydration.
Those are a couple of my staple products for the past few months that I intend to pick up during the SEPHORA sale (& a couple of wishlist items.) I’m going to be posting a 2nd SEPHORA VIB Recommendations post on Sunday with some of my spring favorites, so be on the lookout for that.
