Hi friends! Today I wanted to give you guys my wishlist for the Sephora VIB Sale, since it begins TODAY! I did post a recommendation blog listing a compilation of products I seldom talk about but definitely recommend.
Ya’ll this list is long, and I’m 100% not buying everything I talk about today. There’s a chance I don’t pick up anything. But I scoured my Loves List and the notes on my phone where I keep beauty products I’m interested in to make a list of products I’m considering to purchase during this sale. Let’s get into my Sephora VIB Sale wishlist!
Jouer Bouquet D’Amour Blush Palette
A few weeks ago, as I was reorganzing my makeup collection, I noticed I have a lot of blush. But they are all generally the same color and finish. There’s not much diversity. If I get anything from this list, this blush palette from Jouer is it.
I already have a blush duo, so I already know I love the formula. This palette comes with 6 shades that seem different enough to justify purchasing the palette. I don’t have a lot of purple toned pink blushes or anything quite like that hot pink on the bottom row.
Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter
Charlotte Tilbury is one of the brands I want to try in 2019, but I always have such a hard time biting the bullet and actually buying it because the brand is so expensive! However, one of the products I constantly put in my Loves List from Charlotte Tilbury is the Hollywood Flawless Filter.
I think this is supposed to be an illuminating primer, but it also has a little bit of coverage and can be mixed in with foundations. This honestly sounds like something I’d use all the time. You know I love the Coconut Smoothie Priming Moisturizer from FAB because it smooths out my skin, adds hydration, and spreads a natural looking glow to the face. I think this will do the same. And I really, really want this one.
Fresh Vitamin Nectar Antioxidant Face Mist
My beauty preferences have been changing, and I’ve begun adding facial mists to my routine on a more frequent basis. I recently added the Vitamin Nectar Antioxidant Face Mist from Fresh to my Sephora Loves List, but I can’t talk myself into it.
This facial mist sounds nice. It’s supposed to act as a cooling primer, setting spray, or hydrating refresh. There are a ton of brightening and hydrating ingredients like vitamins C, E, and B5. But it’s $44. That’s so expensive for a skin mist. But the Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist is $48, and I’ve purchased that multiple times.
Kevyn Aucoin Glass Glow Face Liquid Highlight
I’ve actually not heard a lot about this product, but I want to try it.. I read “Glass Glow” and was in! They say it’s a universal, lightweight, unique formula that creates youthful-looking, well-hydrated skin with a glassy look. It can be used on the face and body to leave skin radiant. That sounds really nice for summer, and I’ve been heavily into glowy/illuminating products recently.
The Glass Glow liquid highlight comes in 3 shades–Crystal Clear (sheer), Prism Rose (radiant), and Spectrum Bronze (warm). I have my eye on the sheer option. Are any of you guys intrigued by this? Or have you tried it?
Fresh Seaberry Nourishing Hand Cream
My hands are the driest part of my body, and I have yet to find the best hand cream. I’ve tried some that smell nice but are hella drying, some that are moisturizing but are sticky and weird, and some that just suck. So the hunt continues.
I’ve tried multiple products from the Seaberry line from Fresh in the past, and I’ve really liked the results. So I’m kind of thinking this hand lotion may also be awesome. And my hands need something awesome, so I’m very tempted to add this to my cart.
But at the same time can I spend $23 on hand cream? You know what, if it makes my hands stop cracking, then yes. Yes $23 is worth it.
Dior Backstage Contour Palette
There are a few products from Dior on this list, but I have had this contour palette on my wishlist for a long time now. I’ve always refrained from picking this up because I haven’t been too into bronzer. I just used what I had, but I’ve really been into playing around with them. And this looks beautiful.
I’m a little nervous because I don’t think all 4 shades will work on my skin, but honestly I’m someone who uses my bronzing powders on my eyes frequently. And it’s $45, which I guess isn’t too bad for 4 products. But we’ll see.
ABH Dipbrow Gel
I am a sucker for brow gels. A weird item to be obsessed with, but I am. The truth is, I’m lazy AF when it comes to my brows. Sometimes I run pencils and powder through them, but more often than not all I do is run a tinted gel through them and call it a day.
I’ve used Anastasia brow products in the past, and I’ve enjoyed them. The colors work well for me, but I’ve always found less expensive counterparts that work just as well. However, my go to Benefit Gimme Brow is $24, and the Dipbrow Gel from ABH is only $18. I definitely want to give it a go and see how it works.
Sephora Collection Rougue Lacquer
Nothing gets me like a new lippie. And recently I’ve been all about that glossy lip life. Sephora is releasing a new lip product in their house line—Rouge Lacquer. These lipsticks are one of those hybrids that are intensely pigmented with a high-shine finish and a balm-like texture. It seems to be nourishing and there are a few colors I’m eyeing.
They aren’t that expensive either–$13. Sephora Collection is creeping up there a little bit, but I’m not offended by that price tag.
Dior Airflash Spray Foundation
Your girl doesn’t need another foundation right now, but I want this one always. It’s one of those foundations everyone talks about and loves, and we all just kind of know it. But I haven’t tried it! I always forget, because I only have a Sephora inside JCPenney near me and they don’t carry Dior.
But this is freaking $62, and that pains me just a little bit. I’ll probably hold out on this one until I finish a few of the foundations I have open at the moment. There are 2 or 3 I really want to wear down this year. If not this go around, maybe I’ll pick it up during the fall sale.
