There’s something about summer’s end that makes me want to do a full refresh on my wardrobe and makeup collection. I think it has something to do with the 12 years in the school system, where August marked the start of a new year. The September Allure Beauty Box plays into this concept of refresh perfectly, with hydrating masks, mindless eyeshadow palettes, and luxe oils.
The Allure Beauty Box is $25 per month for a mix of 5-6 full-size, deluxe, and sample sized beauty products. Subscribing also gives you access to their member store for discounts on editor-approved products (it’s so good). Plus you can skip a box if you aren’t interested in a given month.
If you are interested in subscribing to the Allure Beauty Box, join here* for $10 off your first box plus a free, full-sized gift from Static Nails. *referral link – you get $10 off your first box, and I get $10.
A Peek Inside the September Allure Beauty Box
Skincare:
I love a good sheet mask for a shot of hydration, especially as the seasons are shifting. The Rael Collagen sheet mask* is nice, because it contains licorice root extract and amino acids to help plump the skin. And it doesn’t slip all over the place, so I’m not limited to sit perfectly still while this sits on my face. After removing, press the serum into your skin & use any excess in the package on your chest and arms to make the most of it!
The air has been getting drier in WV, and the Serum-Infused Moisturizer from Mudmasky* has been coming in handy! I love how lightweight yet hydrating it is, it plays well with my other makeup & skincare, and fruit extracts gently exfoliate with use, making the skin smooth.
The Eve Lom Rescue Mask* quickly landed in my travel bag for my upcoming Europe trip. My skin always gets stressed when I travel, especially by plane, and this kaolin clay mask is perfect for combating breakouts without parching your skin in the process!
I’ve used the Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Oil* off and on for years, and it has been a treat reintroducing it into my routine. It leaves my skin feeling smooth & soft, and the lavender scent makes it a perfect, relaxing product to use before bed.
Hair & Makeup:
I’ve been on hair journey lately, and one of the products I’ve introduced into my routine is a conditioning hair mask once a week. Infused with coconut oil (a favorite ingredient of mine) & shea butter, the Kristin Ess Strand Strengthening Reconstructive Moisture Mask* has been a great addition. It has made my hair feel soft, and I’m excited to keep using it!
And finally, it’s true what they say about great gifts in small packages. I love the Kaja Beauty Bento Trios. Chocolate Dahlia* has a dark brown, cool khaki, and a shimmery pearl shade for a no-brainer eye look with serious payoff and staying power. And the package is so small, it takes up no space.

- Rael Sheet Mask* – $15.99 for 5 masks, box value ~$3 for 1

This is one of the Allure Beauty Boxes I’ve been most pleased with this year. I’ve loved every product, and can see myself using them well into the future!
The Eve Lom mask is so luxe and effective, it will be one to become part of my regular rotation. The Kaja Bento Box Trios are lovely, and these colors have quickly become everyday shades for me.
