Smile Brilliant CariPRO Electric Toothbrush Review

You know what they say about couples who brush together …

For the past few weeks, both Fitz and I have been testing out the Smile Brilliant CariPRO Electric Toothbrush. I’ve worked with Smile Brilliant in the past with their teeth whitening system, and when they asked if I wanted to try out the toothbrush, it was kind of a no brainer.

Isaac has been using a battery operated spin brush, but I have been using an old school, non-electric toothbrush. So the cariPRO was a big change for me … but I think I’m officially converted.

I’ll get into the details of the toothbrush in a minute, but I wanted to talk about what I liked about it first. It’s totally waterproof — which may or may not be an issue for you, but was for me when I dropped it in the sink…full of water. That will also come in handy if you like to brush your teeth in the shower. I don’t. But some people do.

The other thing I really enjoyed about this toothbrush was the different settings. You don’t get those with a manual toothbrush, and I really liked being able to switch between the 5 settings depending on what my mouth needed. Both Isaac and I noticed all things we’d been missing, plus we both felt our teeth were loads cleaner! I even noticed my teeth were a little whiter–probably because stains were properly being removed.

The claims around the cariPRO are pretty great. And while I can’t attest to them 100%, I definitely think you’ll enjoy this product. The ultrasonic electric toothbrush has 5 different settings — clean, whiten, massage, gum care, and sensitive. My fave is the clean setting; Isaac’s is the sensitive setting. He said the others were too “tickly.” I don’t share that complaint.

One of my favorite features of the cariPRO is the auto-interval timer. It pulsates every 30 seconds, signaling to move to another section of your mouth, and prevents you from having to sing the Happy Birthday song in your head while you brush. Just me?

The heads are also super easy to replace, and replacements aren’t that expensive in comparison to others on the market.
