Stocking are a vastly underrated holiday tradition, in my opinion. There’s a huge potential for additional ways to say you’re thinking of someone and know their interests. I know some families who treat stocking like another big ticket gift, filling it with pricey products. But the majority of people I know kind of do their stockings as an after thought.
In my family, the tradition is we get an orange, an apple, and pistachios. Maybe some other candy and socks. And while I do appreciate the extra vitamin C (and don’t get me wrong, I eat it right up), I think we could stand to put a little more thought into the stocking sentiment.
Personally, I like to keep anything going into a stocking $20 or less, unless it’s something specific you want to purchase but maybe not wrap. Today I’m giving you a few stocking stuffer ideas for the beauty lovers, fashionistas, techies, foodies, professionals, and wellness gurus in your life.
Bite Beauty Sweet Treats Agave Lip Care Set:
Give the gift of hydrated and healthy lips this Christmas! I’ve spoken about my love for Bite Beauty in the past because of their food grade ingredients and spectacular formulas and products, and this little set isn’t any different. The trio consists of a mini Agave Lip Mask in Champagne, mini Agave Lip Mask, and a packet of the Agave Lip Scrub.
Hair Ties/Pins:
Let me tell you, a girl will never not be grateful for a new package of hair ties and/or bobby pins. I don’t know where those suckers go! I’m constantly losing them. I have been obsessed with the Invisibobble hair ties recently. They’re inexpensive, don’t kink in the hair, and don’t tug and weigh my hair down.
Lumee Selfie Phone Case:
Any selfie queen will appreciate this illuminated phone case, perfect for mastering the art of the perfect selfie. This case is made with warm LED lights that allow you to get a the perfect photo the first time!
Sheet Masks:
Sheet masks are great. They’re compact, and are coated in serums packed with skincare ingredients. I like sheet masks because they’re oftentimes less messy than clay or creamy masks. Some of my favorites right now include the Watermelon Glow Mask from Masqueology and the Too Cool For School Egg Cream sheet mask.
Minimal Earrings:
How cute are these triangle, moon, and square studs!?
Selfie Remote:
For the blogger or Insta queen who loves showing off her #OOTDs, it can be tricky to photograph yourself, especially when they’re on their own. A selfie remote connects to their phone via bluetooth and can make selfie taking a breeze.
Geo Hook Set:
This geo hook set will be the perfect addition to any closet or dressing space. They’re a trendy matte gold that can be hung on the wall to house anything from jewelry to hats to tomorrow’s fab look.
See Through Socks:
I’m really riding the socks with heels train, but I can’t help myself. Gift a fun sock to your favorite trend setter!
Clip Spoon:
There’s always something you didn’t know you needed until you see it. This is totally one of those things. This little clip spoon is perfect for clipping bags of coffee or loose tea closed and having your spoon handy every time.
Cheese Kit:
Who doesn’t love cheese!? (Ironic, because I don’t.) This cute little set gives you what you need to make your own cheese!
Salt Sampler
Once a home chef gets used to cooking with basic salt and pepper, they can expand their salt collection. This salt sampler provides you with a variety of salts from around the world to play around with flavor.
Foodie Dice
This is a fun new way to shake up your cooking routine. Foodie Dice provides inspo for creating a simple, seasonal meal. It includes 5 primary dice and 4 seasonal veggie dice. Simply select your 5 primary dice (protein, cooking method, grain/carb, herb, bonus ingredient) and your seasonal veggie die, and roll! An example of what you may roll with the fall veggies die added: roast/fish OR cheese/pasta/thyme/onions/brussels sprouts.
The protein die includes a meat AND vegetarian option.
Resistance Bands:
Whether or not your wellness friend is a slave to the gym or prefers a simple stretch in the morning, resistance bands would make a great gift! They’re small and can taken on the go and are a great addition to a home workout routine.
Himalayan Salt Night Light:
By now we all have heard about the benefits surrounding salt lamps–whether or not you believe it is another thing. Even if you don’t believe in the good vibe properties of the salt like I do, you can’t deny it’s not a comfortable lamp to have around. It looks organic and gives off the softest, orange glow. A perfect stocking stuffer for you wellness guru would be a mini salt lamp in the form of a night light. It plugs into an outlet and doesn’t take up any counter space. Therefore, it’d be great for small spaces and offices.
Rootfoot Palo Santa Bundle:
Palo Santo bundles are similar to sage sticks but help us connect more deeply to the earth. You light the ends, and when you’re finished let it extinguish itself of an incense plate. This particular bundle is cedar scented. Yum!
Tea Shoppe Holiday Tea Sampler:
Shopping locally is amazing when you can do it, and thanks to the Internet, Morgantown’s little Tea Shoppe can be experienced by everyone. I always love their sets, and I’m obsessed with with this holiday set. Including Holiday Winter Spice, Mulled Spice, German Gingerbread, and Winter Palace Marzipan, it’s sure to make anyone feel cozy.
Carrying Case:
Techies have stuff. They have cords and devices and accessories. This carrying case has a place for all of them so they won’t get lost or twisted in the hustle and bustle.
Dual Phone Charger:
Not only is this phone charger longer than standard (win), it also has two USB ports, meaning you can charge two devices at once.
Bluetooth Eye Mask:
I saw this eye mask and instantly thought of boyfriend, who loves to lay down on the couch and listen to music while napping. This would make a cool gift, because you can cover your eyes from the light while also connecting your phone via bluetooth to listen to your favorite music. No cords, easy napping.
Leather Touch Screen Gloves:
I honestly think this is self explanatory. But warm hands + the ability to text = a happy camper.
Notebooks:
Just trust me. Any kind of notebook is an amazing gift for your professional. I love the classic Moleskine notebooks.
Ostrich To Do List:
If you’re anything like me, I always have small notepads around for quick to do list creation. How cute is this notepad with ostriches? I think I need this!
Gold Mechanical Pencils:
Take a step in the fancy direction with these gold mechanical pencils. Functional and aesthetically pleasing.
Mug Warmer:
Any coffee or warm beverage lover knows how irritating it is to get caught up in work, forget about your coffee, take a sip, and it’s cold! That’s the worst. A mug warmer is a great gift for your coffee drinking professional. Never have cold coffee again.
