I own and use a lot of makeup and cosmetics. I’m constantly discovering products I enjoy, so it really means something when I find a product that I need to repurchase as soon as it runs out. And lately I’ve curated a little collection of beauty products I always run out of … and repurchase. I’ve listed my top products here.
Ole Henrikson Truth Serum
I mentioned this in my skin care favorites post a couple of weeks ago. I love how smooth and bright this makes my skin, and the scent is divine.
beautyblender Sponge
Excuse my current sponge–the black stains easily. There are a few variations of this, but I am constantly repurchasing these makeup sponges. I don’t know what it is about them, but there’s nothing that compares. My makeup applies fabulously and looks natural). Disclaimer: I prefer the original pink sponge.
L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation
Initially, I was sent this foundation as a product to review courtesy of Seventeen. I thought I was going to use it, like it, review it, and move on. However, as soon as this runs out, I immediately go to the store to pick up a new tube. It’s a demi-matte finish, but it applies flawlessly. Not to mention, it’s nearly impossible for me to find a good color match for my skin, so when I do, it’s a good thing. Give this a go if you haven’t already.
Maybelline Fit Me Concealer
I love the NARS Radiant Creamy concealer, and when I heard this was a close match, I had to try it. While I still love the concealer from NARS, this is always in my everyday makeup bag. It’s creamy, blends nicely, and stays put when set with powder. And the fact it’s a drugstore alternative is a plus.
Maybelline Superstay 14-Hour Lipstick in ‘Continuous Cranberry’
Lipstick is one of my worst vices. If there’s a new launch, new color, new hype, I have to investigate. While I think this line of lipstick from Maybelline is extremely underrated, there’s one color in particular I can’t live without. Continuous Cranberry is a true, classic red. It lasts all day–it’s not transfer proof, but the color lasts on your lips for hours. It’s safe to say, and this is a huge claim, my favorite red lipstick of all time.
Philosophy Purity One-Step Facial Cleanser
This is another product I mentioned in my favorite skin care post a while back, so I won’t go too far into detail. No matter what cleansers I try out, I always go back to this. It’s so gentle and effective at removing my makeup that I always need this by my sink.
Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo
Hidden away in the above photo is the best dry shampoo I’ve tried in a really long time. I believe I got this in a Birchbox, and I used it on 5-day hair, which is really gross, I know. It was one of those weeks. But it made my hair feel like 2-day hair, which is amazing. It’s a little pricey, but if you love dry shampoos, this is one to try.
